Information Planet started in Australia in 1996, with Mauricio Pucci opening his first agency, “Information Brazil” in Manly, Sydney. With his knowledge of the education industry and the demand from the Brazilian market he successfully developed his business by opening an agency in Brazil and an agency in the Sydney CBD.

Josef Kysilka, co-owner & director of Information Planet started his career in the industry in 1996, as a marketing manager for an English school in Sydney. He later opened his own agency, “Australian Centre for Education”, recruiting students from Eastern & Central Europe. In 2004 Josef & Mauricio joined forces and opened “Australian Education Centre (AEC)”.

In 2008 AEC was re-launched and changed its name to Information Planet. The company has been expanding ever since, in products & services on offer and number of partner agencies in Australia & overseas. Today the Information Planet network includes 50 offices in 13 countries providing services to students on all continents.

In 2018 the Information Planet Global network enrolled students into 12,000 courses in 27 study destinations around the world.
