Our World English Schools has more than 30 years' experience in providing high-quality summer programmes for young people at top UK boarding schools. In 2023, courses will take place at Wycombe Abbey, a historic, secure campus with extensive grounds and first-rate facilities for teaching, sport and recreation. Accommodation in on campus and includes many en-suite rooms. Our courses are:
Global Young Leaders Boys and girls 14-17 years old
This two-week programme helps young people to improve confidence in public speaking and to provide a deeper understanding of important world issues. The unique feature of this course is that it focuses on debating and critical thinking, taught by experienced debating coaches from top universities. Using this approach, students are mentored in developing arguments, applying persuasive techniques, and expressing their ideas to convince any audience.
English and Sports and Activity Boys and girls 12-17 years old
Our English and Activity courses for ages 11-17 have a wide appeal, combining English tuition with sports, excursions and a lively social programme. English is taught in small classes incorporating elements of drama, music, information technology, art and film-making to provide variety and a context for the application of language skills, especially through speaking and listening.
English and Theatre and Dance Boys and Girls aged 12-17 years old
